Yggdrasil Launches 3 Lucky Leprechauns for St. Patrick’s Day

On March 7, 2023, Yggdrasil, a Swedish game developer, announced that it had partnered with 4ThePlayer to release another leprechaun-themed slot machine, 3 Lucky Leprechauns in time for the Irish celebrations. 4ThePlayer is part of the expansive YG Masters program.
In this slot game, the developer uses a typical 5×3 layout. But instead of using bet lines, 4ThePlayer opts for the win ways mechanic, giving the game 243 ways to win. This might sound low compared to what Megaways slots offer, but 243 winning ways are still enough to strike gold in this Irish luck-based slot machine.
However, it won´t be easy for the Saltwaterpeople of Kombumerri-Ngarangwal to pull of the same commercialisation of the area as their indigenous brothers in America. Because The Star Entertainment group is the only company that holds a casino license for the Gold Coast.
The game’s main characters, the leprechauns, serve as the Wild symbol in the base gameplay. Players can select one of three legendary Irish characters as their preferred leprechaun to discover the riches behind the rainbow. This includes a female leprechaun.
Meanwhile, the flurry of rewarding action starts when players enter the Leprechaun Trail, which is adjacent to the game grid. Players must get at least three bonus symbols on the screen to activate the feature.
The number of bonus icons players get on the reels determines their starting point on the Trail. Landing three symbols across the five reels start players at the Trail’s bottom, with four symbols guaranteeing the seventh level. Players who get five bonus icons begin on the twelfth level.
During each level on the Trail, Yggdrasil rewards gamers with a random prize. Players can move to the next level or receive the current level’s prize. These prizes can include cash rewards between 7x and 5,000x the bet or up to 15 bonus spins with a 5x multiplier. That’s not all. Gamers can unlock the Pick-A-Win feature, getting up to five chest picks. Each chest contains a cash prize.
After winning the free spins or picks, gamers can claim and play or convert them into a prize. The average bonus win amount is displayed on the Trail. Once players withdraw the prize, the Leprechaun Trail bonus feature ends.
As expected from a Yggdrasil slot, players can buy their way to the bonus game using the Bonus Buy feature. The three options include 35x, 75x, and 330x the stake.
