Pirate-themed slot machines have become quite common, with Gaming Realms being the latest content supplier to announce that it would be heading to the high seas in search of treasures. This is after the fast-rising content supplier debuted its newest title, Slingo Pirate’s Treasure.

As the name suggests, it’s a pirate-themed game that delivers the thrills of the high seas on a 5×5 game board. And to make players feel like Captain Jack himself, the game features nicely done Caribbean music.

Players will encounter pirate-related symbols on the game board, like an anchor, parrot, cannonball, and treasure. The game’s pay table sits strategically on the left of the grid with a parrot on top, whilst the controls are on the opposite side.

With all that said, the matrix’s numbers are created at random, each spin drawing five numbers. If the numbers match those on the board, the position is marked. Note that more completed lines result in higher prizes. In addition, players can create winning lines diagonally, vertically, or horizontally.

Players start with 10 rounds, which is common in most Slingo titles. During each spin, the reels below the game board can reveal a digit, which will be marked and removed from the playing card if there it’s a match. Players can easily view their progress because the position is replaced with a star.

Like traditional online slots, this game has scatter symbols represented by treasure chests. Players must collect at least three of these icons to activate the bonus rounds and win up to 14 free spins.

During the bonus rounds, gamers can spin the Diamond, Ruby, or Gold wheels to trigger a multiplier value of 2x to 100x the stake. Unlike other Slingo games, Pirate’s Treasure has a reel on the right with cannons which activate when the captain appears. The cannons blast numbers off the screen to help players achieve bigger rewards.

Remember, players must form at least three Slingos to win the game. If they win at least six, they’ll unlock the bonus round to attack Frigates, Corvettes, or Man-O-War ships, depending on their number of Slingos. During the Man-O-War feature, the cannons will fire to sink the vessels and grant big prizes. Players can also get 16 bonus spins as they continue hunting for treasures.

Commenting on the game, Gaming Realms’ Product Director, Hans Winkelmann, remarked: “Slingo Pirate’s Treasure boasts a popular pirate theme that has influenced the design of the game and also inspired the multiple mechanics present within the title. The game comes with a varied assortment of features that promote entertainment along with direct player engagement that will see varying play styles as Slingo enthusiasts climb the prize ladder to be awarded more treasures.”
