Scientific Games was recently happy to announce the appointment of Nick Negro as the supplier’s new CFO (Chief Financial Officer). This is after the company completed a comprehensive nationwide recruitment, with Negro ticking all the required boxes to assume the critical role.

According to the statement from the company, Negro’s appointment was as a result of James Bunitsky’s imminent retirement. Bunitsky has worked with Scientific Games for over four decades and played a central role in Brookfield Business Partners’ takeover of Scientific Games Lottery in April last year.

Negro joins the leading iGaming company with a wealth of professional experience in the finance department. He boasts more than 20 years of experience in strategic and financial management in leading companies in the manufacturing, technology, and logistics industries. Previously, he has held CFO roles at international companies like Navistar, Dover Corporation, and Honeywell.

Commenting on the development, Pat McHugh, Scientific Games’ CEO, said: “We are grateful for Jim Bunitsky’s outstanding financial leadership and excited to now add Nick to our Executive Leadership Team in the role of CFO. He has a thorough understanding of the complexity of international operations in a service-based business and broad knowledge of corporate structure, compliance and strategy. Guided by Nick’s financial expertise, we look forward to the next chapter of sound financial management of our global business.”

McHugh went on to affirm Scientific Game’s’ commitment to creating new games and products. He said the company is committed to achieving and maintaining “gold” standards in the gaming industry.

Following his appointment, Negro will join McHugh at the helm of the company. The Executive Leadership Team also included John Schulz (President of the Americas and Global Instant Products), Walt Eisele (Chief Technology Officer), Steve Beason (President of Digital and Sports), Michael Conforti (President of International and Strategic Accounts), Dena Rosenzweig (Chief Legal Officer), Jennifer Welshons (Chief Marketing Officer), Mona Garland, (Chief Human Resources Officer), Jim Schultz (Executive Vice President of Global Public Policy and Government Affairs), Stephen Richardson (Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer), and Jeff Martineck (Senior Vice President of Products and Innovation).

Launched in 1973, Scientific Games stands out globally as the leader in the lottery, sports betting, and casino technology industries. The company is known for partnering with government lotteries to offer its cutting-edge backend systems, unique entertainment experiences, and creative retail and digital solutions. Scientific Games also strives to push game designs further and is the leader of gaming data analytics and iLottery space.
