Canadian Premier League Settles on TonyBet

The Canadian Premier League (CPL) recently announced a new deal with TonyBet as its Official Sports Betting and Online Casino Partner. The agreement will be active for undisclosed years, and TonyBet will resume its responsibilities immediately.

On its official Twitter handle, the CPL declared, “TonyBet has teamed up with the CPL as its Official Sports Betting and Online Casino Partner for a multi-year deal! This partnership will bring exciting experiences & new ways to engage with our fans, while creating opportunities for both the sports and online gaming industries.”

Following the agreement, TonyBet will now present the CPL’s Match of the Week on OneSoccer, the League’s broadcast media partner. The Match of the Week broadcast has been offering thorough coverage of some of the most competitive games throughout this year’s 28-game regular season. It keeps viewers up to date on CPL news and features.

In addition, the Canadian Premier League’s newest sponsor takes on the role of presenting partner for the League’s Predictor competition on canpl.ca/predictor and the Centre Circle app. This engaging online game lets sports fans predict the outcome of every club’s match during the League’s historic fifth season.

Commenting on the latest agreement, Mark Noonan, CFL’s Commissioner and CEO of Canadian Soccer Business, said: “We are excited to add Tonybet to our growing roster of CPL sponsors. We look forward to working with them on experiences that engage our fans and enhance what it means to be a supporter of the CPL and Canadian soccer in general.”

On their part, Alex Haig, TonyBet’s Country Manager Canada, added: “We are delighted to get behind the CPL and to take our brand to a growing and passionate fan base. With the CPL being one of the fastest growing leagues in Canada tonybet is excited to build and enhance the fan experience.”

The CFL deal is one of the many that TonyBet has managed to secure this year. In January, the betting company signed a contract with Greentube, the digital gambling arm of Novomatic, to expand its market reach into Latvia.

In line with the agreement, TonyBet’s players in the Baltic state can now play various popular games from Novomatic, including Book of Ra Deluxe, Sizzling Hot, and Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe. The deal also includes Greentube’s hits from the Diamond Link and Cash Connections series.

Meanwhile, TonyBet, which provides sports betting, online casino games, and live casino services, is set to launch with Greentube in Spain. The operator currently has ten online gambling licenses worldwide, proving that TonyBet is committed to implementing best practices to protect its gamblers’ interests.
