Pragmatic Goes on a South American Trip with Big Bass Amazon Xtreme

Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass franchise is not a new name to most online casino players. This fish-themed slot was first released in 2020 and has since received several upgrades, including a Megaways version. And just recently, the developer announced Big Bass Hold & Spinner with new mechanics and winning possibilities.
But even before players could get enough of the Hold & Spinner release, the developer has already announced Big Bass Amazon Xtreme. As expected, it borrows most of its inspiration from the first instalments, where players join the bearded fisherman on a fishing expedition. But this time, the hunt heads down to the Amazon jungles of South America.
Big Bass Amazon Xtreme sees the return of the familiar 5×3 game layout and symbols. However, the game has new symbols that gamers must match on the 10 bet lines to receive a payout. During the fishing trip, you can find the traditional 10-A card symbols representing the low-value icons. These symbols can come with a payout of up to 10x the stake for matching at least three.
Players can also find high-value icons, including the fishing rod, bird, fisherman’s backpack, and a floater. You will need at least three symbols to receive a payout reaching 200x the stake. However, the premium icon (floater) can reward you with a 0.50x payout for matching only two on a pay line.
During the base game, players can land the money symbols in the form of fish to win up to 1,000x the wager by merely collecting the fish. Additionally, the game can add a random multiplier of up to 40x to your wins, increasing the likelihood of fishing out the 10,000x top payout.
As the action continues, lucky players can land 3+ scatter symbols to trigger the free spins feature. The game will reward you with 10 bonus rounds, and you can choose between features like more free spins or removing the low-value fish from the reels. In addition, the special modifiers can land to spice up the action.
Like the initial instalments, the fisherman is the game’s wild symbol. Finding him on the reels during the free spins round will accumulate the values from each Money symbol. Remember, you can retrigger the bonus feature and receive an additional 10 free spins and a rising multiplier on the values of the money symbols for every fourth Wild symbol you collect.
You can also crank up the game’s action with the Ante feature. This feature allows you to choose a bet multiplier of up to 15x for landing more scatters on the reels, increasing your chances of activating the rewarding free spins rounds.
