There is never a dull day at any Yggdrasil Gaming online casino. The Swedish online casino content supplier is constantly churning out new content, with over five slots already released in the last 30 days alone.
On 16 March 2023, the company announced the debut of Book of Books, becoming the newest addition to the company’s ever-growing slots portfolio. Yggdrasil says that this game is a collaboration with Peter & Sons studio, and the slot is truly one-of-a-kind.
The game maintains Yggdrasil’s tradition of 5×3 game boards. However, the reels can expand during the bonus round and increase the bet lines to 40. The developer says this adds a unique interpretation of the ‘Book of’ genre, further enriched with Peter & Sons’ iconic art style.
That aside, Book of Books offers players a range of features, including expanding symbols and win multipliers. The multipliers present gamers with the potential to win as much as 10,000x the betting stake.
The game also has free spins triggered if three scatter symbols appear on the reels. Players are rewarded with 7 bonus spins on a 5×3 grid with 10 bet lines if this happens. But if players get four or five scatters, the bonus feature would activate on a 5×4 or 5×5 grid, each with 20 or 40 bet lines, respectively.
In the meantime, two scatter symbols can appear before the Free Spins bonus, with players receiving a random powerup to use during the round. These powerups can also come with extra free spins, symbols that expand, and multipliers of 1x or 2x.
Additionally, Book of Books has a Golden Bet feature for an increased chance of activating the bonus rounds. Depending on the jurisdiction, a bonus buy can be purchased with 120x to 500x the bet. UK players are definitely not eligible.
