KenoGo Review

  • 4,4 / 5

Lisa Cheban  |  September 02, 2024  | Updated on: September 02,  2024

KenoGo is a brand under the umbrella of Lottoland Australia in Sydney. It offers Keno in two versions with some impressive jackpot prizes. The site allows you to play all day, seven days a week. Its fast pace means there are Keno Jackpots every three minutes, and prizes are worth up to an incredible sum of $4 million.

You can pick up to ten numbers out of 80 on each card. They offer the most hefty jackpots for Aussie players, and this no-frill site has an easy registration process. It’s a site purely for Aussies, and we will inspect the games, the payment options, and how to register in our review.

There are various ways to win online jackpots, and we’ve got the essential information to help you decide whether to join and play.

KenoGo Overview

As a result of the Victoria State Government approval and the license granted on April 15th of that year, KenoGo debuted in 2022. They have been given an exclusive gambling licence for 20 years, governed by the Gambling Regulation Act 2003.

As part of our KenoGo review, we tested the website to deliver accurate and reliable information to our Aussie players. We set up an account, and using our years of experience and standardised rating criteria, we gained valuable insights.

Our KenoGo overview has revealed some unique features, like excellent customer support, low deposits, and the ability to save previous ticket numbers. It is a great way to keep your favourite numbers when playing rather than having to input them manually each time.

KenoGo Interface and User Experience

KenoGo interface

Most of our reviews focus on top and safe online gambling Australia sites, and KenoGo has a very different layout and functioning. We found a very well-laid-out design and easy navigation, and it was easy to find what we wanted. Our user experience was flawless, and we could access the FAQ page without glitches. It has all the answers if you are unsure how to play or have other questions about the games, delivering a player-focused website.

We wanted to know if it offered a mobile casino version, and we were happy to find out we could play on iOS or Android Apps for on-the-go instant access. We downloaded it on iOS, and it functioned like the desktop version, albeit on a smaller screen.

Creating an Account at KenoGo

Before we got going, we had to undertake our account registration to join KenoGo, an online gambling in Australia website, and have the steps for you to follow:

  1. First, we clicked on the person symbol at the top right-hand corner. Once registered, you will log in.
  2. Next, we clicked on the “Create Account,” which took us to a new screen to fill in our details.
  3. We had to provide our name, email, DOB, address, and phone number. Ensure this is accurate, as they need to confirm that you are of legal age to gamble.
  4. As part of the registration, you can also set deposit limits daily, weekly, or monthly so you don’t exceed your budget. Tick the box to confirm the terms and that you are over 18 and submit the form.
  5. Confirm your email address and, if requested, provide verification evidence, which includes some type of photo ID and proof of address. This will speed up any withdrawals, so it is a necessary step.

KenoGo Games Selection

You won’t find any pokies or classic casino games like roulette or blackjack here. The only game here is Keno. Basically, it acts as more of a lottery site than an online casino. So the gaming selection is tiny, but the benefit of playing here is that the top winning amounts go up to $40 million, as stated by KenoGo.

There are a few gaming options, including online jackpot options. We have listed what is available below and how to play so you can enter the games and place your first bets when you join.

Live Draw

When you click on the live draw tab, it shows the latest Keno game either in play or about to start. The Jackpot or Classic KenoGo games start at various times, so if you play a few games, you can immediately see what game is live and your numbers. You can also purchase your tickets directly from this tab. The lottery jackpot sums are displayed here, too, and the timers show when the next Keno game will start.

When you navigate to this tab, you can also see the latest hot and cold numbers, which some find helpful in helping them decide which numbers to use. Another feature you can see is the latest trends and current player winnings.

KenoGo Jackpot

The KenoGo Jackpot runs every three minutes, and prizes go up to $40 million for ten matching numbers. You can manually choose from 1 to 10 numbers out of 80 on the card or use the handy auto-pick feature at the bottom of the screen to select random numbers. Each jackpot ticket at KenoGo costs $2 to play, and the prizes vary according to the number matched.

If you match all your picked numbers on the ticket, you will activate the jackpot games with Regular, Minor, or Major jackpot prizes, which KenoGo announces before the start of the game. It’s a bit like a lottery draw and has the potential for big wins.

KenoGo Classic

This KenoGo classic version also allows you to pick up to 10 numbers out of 80 on each card. If you match all ten, the top prizes can increase to an incredible $1 million lottery win. Twenty numbers get drawn on each round. Again, there is a draw every 3 minutes, so if you miss one game, you don’t have long to wait for the next.

Both games work the same, except for the top prize. As in the KenoGo jackpot game, you can pick your preferred numbers or use the quick pick feature to have the machine auto-pick a single or up to ten random jackpot numbers.

KenoGo Heads or Tails

If you prefer something simple, KenoGo Heads or Tails provides precisely that. You can place bets on both the KenoGo Jackpot and KenoGo classic game by making various predictions.

In this game, you can select between drawing numbers from 1-40 (Heads), 41-80 (Tails), or 50/50 (Evens). It will cost between $1 and $100, and you can double your money for heads or tales and even receive a quadruple payout.

While you won’t win the lottery prizes available on the Jackpot or Classic KenoGo games, it offers higher odds, meaning more frequent payouts, and will suit players who prefer a bit more caution in their gameplay.

KenoGo Software Providers

There are usually plenty of software providers at real-money online casinos in Australia, with some offering over 100 developers. KenoGo does not offer the typical casino game style, so it develops its games in-house. Lottoland delivers the games and maintains and manages the site, including the draws, tickets, and the running of the games.

Everything ran smoothly on our visits. When we tried it out, we found no lagging issues. Other player accounts are a good indicator of a site, so we checked out the reviews on the App Store from iOS users. With a 4.5* rating, many happy players have no complaints about the software and usability.

KenoGo Mobile Experience

Having recently launched the KenoGo site, Lottoland collaborated with KenoGo to create a mobile app to retain and attract more players. It has launched one for iOS and Android users, which is easily downloadable from the respective app stores.

You can still enjoy the website, with the same features like payment methods and customer support, but win a mobile jackpot with identical sums rather than one on a desktop. It doesn’t take long to download for instant access on your home screen. The good news is that the site doesn’t take up much storage space and doesn’t host thousands of games like online casinos.

Deposits and Withdrawals at KenoGo

KenoGo offers two convenient payment methods to fund your account. You can use credit or debit cards to make KenoGo deposits and withdrawals. The bank may charge you a fee for credit cards, which they won’t if you use a debit card. You can also pay by bank. The site provides details of their banking account, and when you deposit, ensure you include your player ID number so they can send the funds to your account.

If you aren’t sure of your player ID number, you can find it under your “My Account” section. Double-check this before you transact; the funds won’t reach your account if the number is wrong. Bank transfers are slower than instant debit cards, and the funds can take up to three days to reach your account.

KenoGo does not impose payment fees; the minimum deposit to top up your account is only $1. They also have no withdrawal limits, but you must have turned over any deposit at least 1x on the games before they will let you withdraw.

KenoGo Customer Support

We were highly impressed with the customer support service at KenoGo. Not only do they offer one of the most comprehensive FAQ pages we have come across, but they also offer around-the-clock support. From playing the games to depositing and responsible gambling, almost every question you could think of has an answer on the FAQ page.

The methods to contact them include:

  • Telephone: 1800 574 859 (Monday to Friday 11 am – 4:30 pm AEST)
  • Email: support@kenogo.com.au
  • Live Chat

For an immediate response, live chat is the best bet, as an email can take up to 48 hours to receive a response. We have tested the live chat service to confirm it is as great as they say, and we are pleased to report that we received superb service. The connection was less than a minute, and an amiable and helpful agent had all the answers and sorted us out efficiently and with a satisfactory outcome.

KenoGo Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
✅Android and iOS apps ❌Not a wide range of games
✅Minimum deposit of only $1 ❌Only available to Australian players
✅Jackpot prizes up to $4 million
✅Exceptional 24/7 customer support service

When we started this KenoGo review, we had heard the name mentioned but weren’t 100% sure what it entailed. After playing there and writing our review, we discovered this website is fun and provides a unique way to gamble. But the top prize of $4 million is also a big drawcard.

While there aren’t any regular casino games like pokies, table games, or live dealer titles, this site’s appeal is its simplicity. You can play Keno or bet on options like Heads or Tails for more straightforward and easier-to-win bets.

Final Thoughts

As we conclude our KenoGo review, what did we think about this unique lottery-style gambling site? We give it a big thumbs-up. Built in Australia for Australians, this website offers endless entertainment, with new games starting every three minutes and massive winning potential for correctly guessing the drawn numbers.

The website has a great layout, and you can play on PCs or mobile with low minimum deposits and withdrawals. If you have considered joining, you can deposit and play from $1, so it won’t break the bank to try it out. Our account was easy to set up, and after verifying, we found that everything at KenoGo runs smoothly and efficiently. It was a delight to play here and write our review.

FAQ

Is KenoGo legitimate?

Yes, it is entirely legitimate and reputable. KenoGo holds a licence from the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), which regulates and protects players. KenoGo must, therefore, conform to all regulations laid out by the VGCCC, including your privacy. When you play here, they use secure SSL connections like banks to keep the data you share private and safe. Another licence condition is that they must prove they have the funds to payout players. It means they have set up the necessary procedures to guarantee this to all their players.

Does KenoGo offer any bonuses?

No, unfortunately not. When you play here, you won’t receive any bonuses or promotions. Australian laws have introduced new measures where any gambling operators may not offer incentives to encourage new players to join their website or, in turn, to keep you playing. It means that when you play, you will have to play with real money. However, as it operates under a lottery system, you can win massive prizes of up to $4 million for a perfect 10-number prediction. Due to the heavy and stringent regulations, these gaming sites generally don’t offer player bonuses at sites worldwide.

Can I access KenoGo on my mobile device?

Yes, of course you can. KenoGo has gone one step further than many online casino sites and launched mobile apps for Android and iOS users. While it doesn’t mean you cannot play on your web browser like you would on your desktop, it is an easy way to get quick access to the website. Whether you want to download it on tablets or smartphone devices, it only takes a few minutes to do it for instant access when you visit the website next. If you use a Windows operating system, you can access it on your mobile web browser.
